Tuguegarao City, April 15, 2025 — Nearly 1,500 Grade 10 completers of Cagayan National High School – Junior High School were moved and inspired by guest speaker Engr. Reynaldo A. Carpio, President and CEO of Grand Monaco Land and Montana Homes, during the school’s 10th Moving Up Ceremony.
A proud CNHS alumnus, Dr. Carpio shared his humble beginnings as a market boy, farmer, and gasoline station attendant, and how he rose to become a multi-awarded engineer, entrepreneur, and real estate developer. With humor, sincerity, and conviction, he emphasized the values of Sipag, Tiyaga, at Diskarte (S-T-D) as the key ingredients to his success.

Since 2003, Dr. Carpio has built nearly 5,000 units of quality and affordable housing projects in Metro Manila. Today, he leads major developments such as the Montana Misora Homes in Enrile-Tuguegarao City, Cagayan, the Monaco Strip Mall, a 100-room hotel, and Grimaldi RestoBar, all located along Ortigas Avenue Extension in Taytay, Rizal.
Dr. Carpio also underscored the importance of continuous learning. He shared how he pursued multiple degrees and actively supports the education of his company’s executives—believing that true success must be shared with others.
