In a heartwarming event filled with hope and joy, the community of Enrile gathered for a house
blessing ceremony at Montana Misora Homes on August 10, 2024. The project, aimed at
providing affordable housing to middle-income families, marks a significant milestone in the
efforts of the province of Cagayan to address the growing housing crisis in the country. Led by
Montana Homes President & CEO Engr. Reynaldo A. Carpio, Ph.D., the activity was attended by
esteemed guests, including Nishio Takuya, Country Manager of Tact Home Philippines; Hon.
Miguel Decena, Jr., Municipal Mayor of Enrile; Hon. Christina Magbitang, Municipal Vice Mayor
of Enrile; Hon. James Maggay, Barangay Captain of Maddarulug Norte, Enrile; and Engr.
Carmelita Pagulayan, Head of Pag-IBIG’s Tuguegarao Housing Business Center. In his speech,
Engr. Carpio highlighted the significance of a home. “A home is more than just a structure. It is
a place where memories are made, families grow, and dreams are nurtured,” said Engr. Carpio.
During the event, Mayor Decena proudly expressed that the Montana Misora Homes project
has the potential to become “the next Tagaytay in the north” due to its favorable location and
inviting ambiance. He extended his congratulations to Engr. Carpio, Tact Home Philippines, and
all those who contributed to the successful development of the project area. “The integrity of
your company is indeed recognized in the province of Enrile, [and throughout] Cagayan,”
Decena said. Residents of Enrile were also thrilled by the announcement from Engr. Carpio
about the upcoming commercial development to be constructed within the future Montana
Misora Homes community.
Amenities of the soon-to-rise clubhouse include a swimming pool,
function rooms, and hotel rooms.Following the program proper, Rev. Fr. Domingo Langcay presided over the blessing of the
Montana Misora Homes model units. The event concluded with a tour of the model houses and
the tossing of coins, a traditional symbol of wealth and prosperity.
