Montana Homes was founded on hard work, perseverance, and strategic vision.
A Strong Foundation in Construction and Real Estate
It was in 1987 when Engr. Reynaldo A. Carpio, Ph.D. started a construction company that quickly gained a reputation for solid and dependable performance and achieved a ‘Triple A’ status as a full-fledged contractor in time. In 2003, Engr. Carpio embarked on a journey into the real estate sector, focusing on housing development and property leasing. He founded Grand Monaco and initially directed his efforts towards pocket developments in urban areas, including Pasay, Quezon City, Pasig, and Rizal Province. Grand Monaco proudly embraced its tagline, “Tutulungan Kang Magkabahay,” highlighting its dedication to helping Filipino families achieve their dream homes. In a relatively short time, the company experienced significant growth, expanding to a portfolio of 3,500 houses aimed at upper low-cost and middle-income categories, generating over Php 7.8 billion in sales.
The Birth of Montana Homes and Growth of Grand Monaco
In 2019, Montana Homes was founded as a subsidiary of Grand Monaco, with the primary aim of addressing the growing housing backlog in the Philippines. In 2021, Grand Monaco was established as a holding company under the new name Grand Monaco Land, Inc. This change allowed the company to expand its portfolio to include a diverse range of assets, such as commercial buildings, beachfront properties, and the development of hotels and resorts. This expansion not only diversifies the company’s operations but also strengthens its contributions to the real estate sector.
Expansion And Industry Recognition
Over the years, Grand Monaco has made significant contributions to the real estate industry in the country, earning recognition from both the public and private sectors alike, and solidifying its reputation as a leader in Philippine real estate.
On April 30, 2025, Grand Monaco received the FIABCI Outstanding Developer Award for Residential – Affordable Category and was named Asia’s Influential Leader in Real Estate Development on February 28, 2025. In 2024, the company was honored with the Profiles Asia Lifetime Achievement Award, the NREA Leadership Award, the OFW Party List Innovative Excellence in Real Estate Marketing Award, and a Presidential Plaque of Recognition for Engr. Rey Carpio, highlighting his contributions to the real estate industry and the community. Earlier accolades of Grand Monaco include the People’s Choice Award in 2021 and the FIABCI Outstanding Developer for Residential Award in 2015, reflecting its commitment to quality, innovation, and service in housing development.
